Garfish Manly has a private dining room, which is the perfect space for business meetings, celebrations, birthdays, and Christmas Parties.
The private dining room accommodates a maximum of 40 guests with a minimum requirement of 30 guests for exclusive use Thursday to Saturday nights and 25 guests Sunday to Wednesday nights. The room is equipped with a plasma screen which shows images of the live kitchen action during service, or if you wish, can be connected to your laptop for computer presentations.
If you wish to organise a function for less than 25 guests there a number of other places we can, non exclusively, accommodate for smaller groups. Our set menu will apply to all groups over 12 people. These are limited choice menus that your guests can chose from. We print menus specifically for your event so there is the opportunity to personalise these for you.
Examples of our function menus are shown opposite. You are required to book onto one of these menus in order to reserve the room at lunch or dinner. We can tailor specific breakfast packages to meet your requirements. We are happy to cater for vegetarian guests, and also work around specific dietary requirements.
We do not allow BYO on functions and have a fabulous and varied wine list for you to choose from. We ask for you to determine your beverage requirements in advance to ensure we have adequate stocks available and chilled, ready to serve your guests.

Terms & Conditions Function Bookings
Please note that the $65 menu package is not available throughout December.
Tentative bookings: All tentative bookings for the private dining room will be held for a period of five (5) working days, after which time the booking will be released. Reservations and Deposit: A function at Garfish Manly in the private dining room will be confirmed upon receipt of credit card details and signed Terms and Conditions. No deposit is required, however, please take note of our cancellation policy listed below.
Confirmation of numbers: Confirmation must be made by you at least 48 hours prior to your function time. At this time we require final numbers. The final number confirmed will be the MINIMUM number of people we will charge you for.
Function cancellations: A cancellation fee will apply if a function is cancelled within seven (7) days of the scheduled function date. This fee will be 20% of the total catering amount for food, and will be charged on the credit card provided. No fee will be charged if the function is cancelled more than seven (7) days in advance.
Functions on Sundays and Public Holidays: All functions occurring on a Sunday or a Public holiday will incur the usual surcharge charged in the restaurant. This is 5% for Sunday and 10% for Public holidays. This price will be added to your bill on the day.
Gratuities: Service is not included. If you would like a gratuity to be added please inform the manager on duty.
Alcohol and beverage packages: All functions booked in the private dining room are not permitted to BYO. We do not have any set beverage packages available, and operate under an ‘on consumption’ basis. You are advised to pre order wines to ensure adequate stocks are available & chilled for your event.
Seasonal menu changes and pricing: The menus provided are subject to seasonal changes. We will confirm your menus one week before your event. Please note that due to the quality of our fish and seafood; sometimes we will not be able to get some items on the day. We will call ahead on the day to inform you of this, and will ensure that a suitable alternative will be available in this event. All prices quoted are subject to change. Receipt of your credit card details will secure the menu price at this time.
Children: A set children’s menu for children under 12 will be available also. It will be at a cost of $25 per child. Please note that children are not included in the minimum numbers required to book the private dining room.
Responsible service of Alcohol: Garfish has taken measures to ensure that guests enjoy alcohol without danger to themselves, fellow guests or staff. Staff have been trained in the practices of RSA and management supports the actions of staff in refusing service to intoxicated, disorderly or underage patrons, in accordance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol Act.
Indemnity and Damages: Garfish Manly does not assume responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to any property belonging to the client, client’s guests or invitees; or for any injury sustained to the clients during their time at Garfish. Garfish also reserves the right to remove any undesirable persons from the event or the restaurant premises without liability. The client is liable for the actions of their invitees and any damages or losses incurred during the event. Any costs will be billed directly to the client.
